Additional Information

Mary Ann and Jim work inside the Bear Hill School

Jim Cummings learned the art of stained glass from his father. In 1976 he began his business, taking commissions for pieces that can now be found in public and private collections throughout the country. Jim has expanded his glass art to include etching, slumping, fusing and sand-blasting. Over the years he has developed his own style, maintaining originality while combining stained glass with other media. Jim is primarily self taught and has taught his wife and children the art as well. Jim and his wife Mary Ann joined the Spruce Forest Artisan Village in 1995.
